MXHOUSE is an exercise in subtraction and simplification, an interior reform in a house from the 50s. It was decided to strip the cladding and leave visible the original structure hidden since its construction. Maximum simplicity is sought in the spaces and a marked duality for every moment of the day.

The day space is treated as a whole, eliminating enclosures and reducing obstacles to the minimum expression, in this way the circulations and furniture are what define and delimit the spaces. The simplification and homogenization of materials and colors emphasizes the volume and ensures that this is the element around which the space revolves and is structured.

In the night space, the wooden covering gives access to the different elements, giving the whole the necessary comfort and recollection.
